Too many hand crossings! *bewildered face* Trying to learn our latest duet “Papageno!” (based on arias from Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute).

We have a number of exciting concerts throughout the month of June. We’re about to record our next album (on Steinway & Sons’ new record label), so we’ll be in tiptop shape and antsy to preview music from the upcoming release!

We’re recording in less than two month’s time, and we’re looking for an album title that sums up the music in a catchy way…. The track list features our own piano duo arrangements of night songs — night songs about hallucinations and delirium; the composers represented range from Gesualdo to Villa-Lobos, Mozart to Coldplay.

Woah. The music doesn’t always happen where we think it ought to. Instead, it happens somewhere else – in the silence, in the reverb on the walls, in the performer’s gasp for air. Music comes charged with a palpable energy created by its surroundings at that very moment. Under any other circumstance, it would be different.
